AAME

Welcome to AAME Webpage.

AAME stands for ‘AFRICAN ADVENTURE MINISTRY EXPERIENCE’

We offer opportunities to Christians who would like to have a working holiday experience in South Africa. In what we have termed VOLUNTOURISM, the programmes are designed to be ministry related, work related, and tourism related. We also include recreational activities which exposes our visitors to our diverse cultures and its people – and help them gain a deeper understanding of the country’s both spiritual, emotional and physical needs.

Depending on which day of the week you arrive, you will fall in with the specific activities.  OTC is always held on the first weekend of every month and Holy Spirit Camps, Deliverance Camp and Healing Camp is held on the third weekend of every month, depending on the month

What we are all about

Fisherman’s Village- our ‘Destination for Restoration’ is a restoration and discipleship training base. We offer opportunity to overseas visitors to minister Christ to our rainbow nation here in a relevant and practical way. Through this programme, the candidates will have a hands on experience for themselves and also participate in the restoration courses offered at Fisherman’s Village and surrounding areas.

Fisherman’s Village is not a Bible School or Theological Training Institution, rather, candidates learn to minister in a practical hands on manner – like Jesus did.

What we offer

Ministry

As a Voluntourist at Fisherman’s Village, you will be able to participate in a number of ministry programmes such as visiting Orphanages, Home for Disabled, Prisons, Informal settlements, and others interesting places as arranged and planned in the Fisherman’s Village AAME programmeYou would also help to facilitate or present the OTC course  (if you have the confidence and ability to) once you have been through it yourself.

 All for Jesus!
